cell phones, country music, and the art of staying home

I feel so... Adult this week. i'm sick of it and wicked glad the rents are coming home tomorrow/today depending.

Gaby got a cell phone which means life is alot easier. and fun, her phone is entertaining

country music is the shit. Nickel Creek. whom gaby actually liked. and Keith Urban. have been ruling my cd player.. i traded them in for jack johnson tonight though..

STORY:

tonight. we were watching Law and Order. (which i've been suddenly addicted to for no reason) and being i went to check my mail and see if my sis was on. and gaby was in the bathroom. and i hear nails scratching on the door. so i turn down the music alittle freaked out.. and here it again but louder. and a slight wailing. I freak out. run into the hallway towards my room (if you've been in my house you know where that is) yelling to gaby "UH GABY COME OUT BEFORE SOMETHING KILLS ME. not that her 4'11" self could've protected me much. but she came out and we were like.. crawling on the ground afraid to look out the window. so we crouch into the kitchen and pick up some knives out of the cabinet...gaby:"Not that knives have anything over a gun but hey it couldn't hurt"  so i walk slowly to the front door pull it open quick and  go "okay, what the hell?"  nothing at all .so gaby walks up and is like check the back of the screen door. me "okay" her "be careful if there's blood whatever it is will end up in the house" me "GO CHECK THE DAMN SCREEN YOURSELF" her laughing hysterical opens the door (still have knives) nothing..then Ojoe. my kitten comes prancing inside..

haha. i love being how scared we were.. and how funny we looked running around my house with HUGE knives
